Everytime one of my posts get rated "helpful", my alerts look like the pictures below. Not kidding. That's 4K resolution on Google Chrome.
For this case specifically I installed the Chrome extension "User CSS" and added the following rules: Code: .content .description img[src="styles/dark/ratings/wrench.svg"], .content .description img[src="styles/dark/ratings/check.svg"] { width: 15px } .dark_postrating_column .dark_postrating_header img[src="styles/dark/ratings/check.svg"], .dark_postrating_column .dark_postrating_header img[src="styles/dark/ratings/wrench.svg"] { width: 15px }
Drives me mad. It wasn’t that long ago that the “like” graphic was the same size. They fixed one but left the others, “helpful” and “downvote”, impossibly large. Half a job. After the downvote was removed but the helpful button still had this huge graphic, I was half tempted to use the lingering annoyance of the gargantuan tool icon as a ‘sarcastic spanner award’ in place of the downvote. I did on one or two occasions but got bored of it. Now, if I think something is genuinely helpful I use the “like” button because I don’t want anyone to have the godzilla wrench appearing in their notifications.
