For the longest time, TSW has yet to include one of Amtrak's most used locomotives, but this would be a great time now that we have the MBTA commuter. Amtrak's Lake Shore Limited operates P42DC doubleheaders, view liner cars and amfleet, meaning we no longer have to depend on the Creator's Club to make P42DC liverys. Rolling Stock Amtrak P42DC (in phase 5 livery) (usually 2 leading) Viewliner II Baggage Cars (usually behind the 2nd P42) Viewliner II Sleepers Amfleet (Coach) Amfleet (Cafe) Route The Lake Shore Limited runs across the MBTA Framingham/Worcester line starting from Boston and stops at the following MBTA stations: -South Station -Back Bay -Framingham -Worcester both Westbound and Eastbound. Price Considering the fact that this is just a locomotive DLC and not a whole route, it should be something small and affordable, I would say anywhere from $4.99 - $9.99 is good, HOWEVER, that is very unlikely to happen so I would say if I were realistic, it would be somewhere from $19.99-$22.99. Please leave you're feedback, it helps me alot!
It will, not cost that cheap. Current TSW pricing shows loco DLC's being at $19.99-$22.99. It will never be that cheap on release.
As Blanknred noted, <$10 is way too cheap for a loco DLC, especially with passenger rolling stock and services/scenarios. That said, these locomotives get suggested a lot, and I agree with the sentiment. In the MBTA Missed Details thread I suggested having two separate long distance packs for $30 - $40 that included rolling stock, services, and scenarios for the content's respective regions and in-game routes. It got a lot of likes, so I don't think selling at the higher price point would be a deterrent.
Love that picture. Croton-Harmon on the Metro-North Hudson line. The first locomotive is actually a P32AC-DM. The second (behind it), is a P42DC. Notice the different side vent size and configurations.
Bring It On by the way the Amfleet II can also be used as a Quiet Car in fact my brother used one 1 month ago when he went back to Providence on the Northeast Corridor Trenton to Boston route. Cafe car is always on the middle for a regional but behind a sleeper on the long distance trains
