Do you know how we hqve the passanger can in Train sim classic? well i would be nice to have it in Train sim world as well.
Has been requested a few times but DTG don’t seem inclined to add it. I would personally be in favour as if you are driving steadily it’s nice to be able to grab a few seconds as a passengers. The purists may scoff and say if you’re driving, you shouldn’t leave the cab, but then promptly pop into helicopter view to make shunting easier! I’m guessing the ability to just board trains as a passenger in free roaming has been regarded as sufficient to cater for the need.
You can scroll through the cameras by pressing the left and right arrows, not sure on console, it does seem a bit random where the camera puts you but most of the time one of the passenger views is included then just just press 1 to get back to the cab or keep on scrolling through.
It will not take you to a passenger view though as this is not offered from the "1" cab camera of any TSW traction unit.
Im sure ive been put in a seat when scrolling through, obviously you cant get up and walk around but you can still pan the camera round. Il have a go when im next on to make sure, maybe its only certain stock? Maybe it was the other way round, being a passenger and it puts you in the cab when scrolling
