    Hey,

I saw the Passenger Displays in the BR 406 ICE, but I wondered how to turn them on. Like you can change the Destination Displays outside of the ICE but why aren't the displays inside the ICE working?

Or can you even turn them on.

I am talking about those displays btw:

Think they're inoperable - likely linked to passenger information systems like next stop announcements (perhaps they show the next stop?) which aren't in the game. I've not been on an ICE so don't actually know what it does.

Also, what on earth is happening here?

Those passenger displays don't actually work in game unfortunately. It would be cool if they did though

It's one of the fancy features of the ICE trains, where the driver can make the glass opaque if he/she wishes for more privacy. However the tech responsible for this really does not like having layers of glass behind even more glass, so it'll look weird if you point the camera in some angles.

As for the OP, no, these screens cannot be turned on and are not functional at all.
However, on some cars there will be a display board located along the ceiling of the passenger cabin, usually right behind the doors, that does show information about the service.
So basically, some displays work and some do not.

The thousands separator for points will be a decimal point in some regions.

Only IC coaches have working displays now. Other trains like ICE3 or BR 423 don't.

Ahh. Thought it'd be something to do with semi-transparent decals or something.
