Hello all, I was curious if there is any way we can stop the passenger doors that doesn't have any contact with the platform, not open? I find this to be highly unrealistic, and TS classic even shows this feature. For reference, I mainly operate MTA Metro-North and LIRR routes and there are some short platforms (4 cars at best) and the whole train set doors open. Thank you

From what I remember, there is no sdo operation that allows you to choose what doors to unlock such as with the m7a. Currently no trains do that and the only way is to do it manually either using external camera or walking to the door

not unless you do it manually, SDO operations aren’t implemented in TSW

You need to turn off door zone switch top left panel in both driving cabs you want the doors to open in say the switch is off in cabs 1 and 4 this means cabs 5 and onwards will not open here’s the switch taken from m3

For trains that have this feature in real life, you can press the button, it just opens all doors.

i believe some trains have a form of sdo like the 465 and i think maybe some of the electrostars, (it opens only the front 4 coaches) if you press the right button (i think its open doors not open all or something like that)

One of the real positives introduced by Rivet in Edinburgh to Glasgow. (See I can praise Rivet when it’s merited :))

Along with announcements these should be standard in all TSW4 routes, but there’s been zero mention of it.

    The 465 doesn't have SDO.
