You can get it regardless - epic games checks if you have it on PC regardless. Epic games store doesn't take up much space (like a GB at most I think)
No, and will never happen because the TSW PC Editor is basically just a derivate (customized version) of the Unreal Editor made by Epic Games. And Epic Games would never release their own product through their biggest competitor. So, it's not even a thing DTG could control or is under DTG's responsibility (what many people think it would but in fact is not). But to be honest, it's not such a big issue for me. An Epic Games account is free and so is the Editor for TSW4 at the Epic Games Store. In my case, I even had an Epic Games account long time before even knowing of TSW for getting the free games every week. I only can recommend to get an Epic Games account to anyone. It does not cost you anything, but you can save a lot of money for games with it.
