On the f7 santa fe if you accidently activate emergency brakes it's impossible to get any amps even when it says pcs has reset. I have tried shutting down the loco and restarting engine nothing works . I've had to quit two services because I could not get going again. Any one else had this problem?series x
To reset the PCS you need put the reverser to neutral and the Auto brake to Emergency and loco break to Full, wait 2 mins. then you can release the breaks and the PCS light will go out, reverser back to Forward and take power Train Sim World: Resetting from a PCS / Alerter Emergency Stop - YouTube
I also put the F7 CJP into Emergency braking not realizing how easy it was to do by mistake, I have watched a few videos, read through the posts here and the reset tips / options are not working. I even went into the training module, and I deliberately put into PCS / Emergency braking, and I have been trying to figure out the steps to reset with no luck yet that is, just not getting amps to power that loco. I even tried using the emergency fuel engine shut down reset the prep to drive it, and the engine start did not work either, restarted the introduction / training of the F7 CJP and whatever I try to recover the PCS / emergency brake does not work, the light does go off, the pipe fills to 90, everything look as it should but no power. But I'm not giving up yet
Not Yet with the updates that were pushed out recently, I'm hoping this may have gotten a fix, I will give it another look see, and report back here.
Okay I did give it another go and made a Crude video edited the best I could with a very basic / simple program, it did get a bit long, and it looks like youtube now does auto chapters? I am having a fair deal of issues with my PC, been backing things up and trying to recover from a few drives. Mind you I recorded this with OBS from my XB1. Loco F7 CJP Triggered PCS after emergency Braking and getting the PCS to reset.
I tried following your video but it does not work on series x . Dtg have not yet to my knowledged Acknowledged this is a problem or a fix is Being worked on.
Yeah, it sure sems like it, even for me it's been a hit or miss, but this is the first time what I did in that video, actually worked, but will it work again? And I really like this Loco. But I will keep testing and see where things go and make a much shorter video.
