Steam Peak Forest - Freeze On Load?

This is a new one both from the save game and TSW3.

Attempted to load a saved PFR run, the one in Journey mode semi fast Manchester to St Pancras with a Jubilee. On loading I get a frozen image of where the train was when I exited (just approaching Dove Holes Tunnel) but it proceeds no further. Can't Alt-Tab out of it or get the Task Manager to appear, so hard PC reboot the only solution.

First time I was updating MSFS in the background so thought maybe a GPU conflict. However same thing then happened on a clean boot. Probably a corrupt save file but just wondered if anyone else has encountered this paticular bug, either with PFR or any other TSW route?

 

Same issue here but the problem later spread to the whole game, now uninstalled and redownloading

 

Yes I picked up on the thread in the main section, after posting this. Looks like playing other than TSW for the next few days.
