Hi DTG team and fellow players, I wanted to share some respectful feedback/suggestions regarding the Caltrain content that was removed from sale due to licensing. I understand that licensing agreements expire and that these decisions are often outside the developers’ control. That said, I wanted to express that there is still interest from players like myself in the Caltrain-branded versions of the Peninsula Corridor route and associated locomotives, particularly the MP15DC switcher and Baby Bullet. Even if they don't have the brand on them, I would still appreciate if they were available for purchase in all Dovetail Train Simulators, including the original TSW 2020 which I play. For the attached image, I would like the Diesel Switcher and Baby Bullet to have a price so I can buy them like the Amtrak one on the left. While I appreciate that unbranded versions are planned / available, the authentic Caltrain liveries and branding add to the authenticity, and I would personally be very happy to re-purchase the Caltrain-branded content if the licence were ever renewed or made available again in the future. I’m not asking for any promises or timelines, I'm just hoping this can be noted as genuine community interest for consideration if licensing discussions ever reopen.
