With the vintage German lines set in the 2000's etc and the strange looking electric locomotives and control cars, i think it opens up the possiblity to have a BR118 diesel in here which once again looks very aerodynamic. The rest of the rolling stock is compatible with it already so it just a matter of getting in there and seeing what scenarios was typically in.
What a coincidence: I just painted a DR 118 together with a DBB 221 on the DB 143 of the Frankfurt S-Bahn in May. The fat "Babelsbergerin" is one of my favorite diesel locomotives. If you grew up in the West, the 221 will be more familiar. Although I was impressed by the Soviet import 120 "Taigatrommel" and, of course, the 132 "Ludmilla" as a little boy. As for rolling stock, there are currently a lot of classic West German passenger cars, but this locomotive would certainly need something typically East German on its coupling hook...
