So playing on xbox x every route i play now its always blurry inside the cab if the train like the dials and the writing blurry the outside of the train looks all washed out and dull is there anything I can do to try and make this better the scenery seems to be ok thanks
DTG made a few suggestions in a previous roadmap including selecting HD not 4K, and clear rather than dynamic weather. But people report these don’t make any difference. It’s a core game issue
HD makes the experience worse and like you said, it doesn't make a difference even if it was 4k or HD, the game performs exactly the same
I've tried all of the suggestions dtg have said and nothing still the same I'm so fed up of this issue now its ruining the gaming experience the money we all spent on dlc and they are not even sorting out been like it now tsw 5 come out. Edit i have tried to open the game for the last hour and now gets to the loading screen gets half way and kicks me back to xbox home screen dtg you need pull your finger out and sort this mess of a game out ASAP this is not fun !!!!!!!
Sadly it does seem the wider issues are being ignored and the wall of silence continues, except of course when it comes to carefully choreographed streams to showcase new content or the Roadmap. We are told the EP is no longer looking at the forums, the CM’s are largely quiet. When a game has the issues which TSW has, the company behind it ought to be out front assuring customers the issues are in hand and that fixes are coming. This is not the time for those responsible to put their heads in the sand. Many of us have paid £100’s if not over £1000 for our accumulated TSW collection, we are not talking some free to play tablet game here. Otherwise it is easy to start getting the impression this is a company adrift on the ocean, out of touch with the player base and no real plan or even inclination to get to grips with the various issues. Churning out DLC now seems DTG’s sole reason of existence. And it’s not just TSW - TSC all but ignored as are Catan and the fishing games. We just saw CTS rushed out of early access to full price release and apparent from posts in its forum nowhere near ready to be declared finished.
I lowered res on my XsX to 1440p (no hdr) after making a research, practically if you have performance priority it is only way to have 60fps on 9th gen consoles (4k is just a gimmick for casuals). After that 80% of tsw routes jumped to constant 50-60fps except broken routes and trains like Fulda or class 170... I still have fps hickups and sound pops though all over tsw.
