Gotta share this... no idea if this was caused by some core performance update or me tinkering with my mouse settings - got Razer Deathadder v3 and for some reason when purchasing it back like 2yrs ago or sth I had thought it would be a good idea to set the polling rate to 8000 Hz So I got to tinkering with the polling rate like 2 days ago, tested 8000, 4000, 2000 and 1000 Hz, and found out that on 1000 Hz, there was a noticeable difference both in FPS and smoothness of like turning around etc... atm it seems the ideal is 2000 Hz, producing only rare stutters when doing superfast turns with cameras in games So I think the performance increase is also due to this, since the CPU isnt so burdened now (8000 Hz caused frequent stops/stutters when doing sudden movements with the mouse, as I found out - in MS Paint, when doing straight line test, a simple line just... appeared )
