I was close to completing the first chapter (after training) of the Frankfurt – Fulda journey in the ICE T when I came to a permanent red aspect. This was about 2.5Km from the end stop. A couple of minutes beforehand, I saved my journey. Then I decided to have a go with photo mose for the first time ever. So I messed around with the settings in there for a couple of minutes, including advancing the time. Then I continued the journey, where I soon came to the red aspect. There was another train in the block ahead, and all aspects to the end stop were red. I tried to contact signaller. I even waited 10 minutes. Nothing. Then I tried to delete the train in front using the map – which cleared the signals for me to proceed, except it appeared to kick me out of my journey (if I tried to sit back in the driver's seat, it warned me that it would end my current journey). I loaded my save, this time continued without touching photo mode, and finished the journey without a permanent red. So, I think photo mode is the culprit. It could be one aspect of photo mode, such as advancing the time. It needs more testing to try and recreate the issue, and see if it happens across other routes, in other modes. Anyone else noticed this? Ironically, save game – which used to cause all the permanent reds – finally came to my rescue!
