Personally I'd love for this route to be modern day with a class 170. Ethier way this route would be brilliant to see! Please vote below if you also want to see this.

Not a big fan of Scottish routes but the variety of locos is good. I like the 3rd one the best.

I rather liked my experience of the route recently. This view was just amazing so had to grab it. One thing, is if it ever is made, that river is busy as hell

 

I'm german and have no relation to the route, Edinburgh or other aspects of Scotland.

However, Forza Horizon 4 made me interested about the environment. There we also have Edinburgh station and a loco which runs through the open world. I really like the 3 bridges north of Edinburgh and especially the big red Forth bridge.

I guess it would be really nice to drive over it and discover the beauties of Scotland.

At this point I'm just wanting a 170 to come to TSW lol. It's my favourite DMU and one I drive to death on Train Sim Classic on the Edinburgh to Glasgow and Fife Cirle lines. I Was quite sad to see them be replaced by the 385s honestly.

That said, I can get behind the Fife Circle in TSW. Having been on the route recently for a weekend break to North Queensferry, it would make a great addition to the game provided we get a reworked 158 from Skyhook in Scotrail Saltire! It would also give DTG an excuse to open up Haymarket Depot as it's all shut on the Edinburgh to Glasgow Route.

EDIT: and an Inter7city HST! Can't forget about the 43 now can we?

I liked passing it, I was on holiday myself there earlier this year near Stirling and went to Rosyth just to get the train over bridge to Edinburgh. Haymarket was an absolute hive of Class 43 activity when i was there.

Interesting seeing the 170/158 consists too.

Let's be honest. Dovetail or any other partner won't make a poll change their mind. Basically the poll is would You want fife circle as the next Scottish route for TSW.

 

Personally, the two Scottish routes are among my least played in TSW, not because of the setting, but there's just not enough variety in the services and AI trains.

That being said, this one looks good! The class 170 would be great to have in the game. I voted yes.

 

I haven't bought the E- G route because I found the TSC version pretty dull. But the FC was a different kettle of fish and I would likely pop for it if it came to TSW. Of course, that would depend on it having more than just one drivable emu/dmu.

 

This would also add variety of rolling stock to E - G mostly AI but would atleast start populating the end stations and haymarket.

 

That would require Rivet to do a new timetable, which I doubt they would do.

 

Ah yeah true, well the 385 could layer into a new one and we could forget all about the rivet route(as they have )

 

I really hope this is the next UK route Rivet are working on. I’ve been saying for ages that it’s about time the worlds most famous railway bridge is brought into TSW.

 

This would be a great route to have especially in the 70s/80s or with the 68s.

 

If it means getting a class 68 I’ll buy it!

Indeed, the TSW community wakes up one day to see the announcement of the next UK route for Train Sim World 4. It's the highly requested Fife Circle Line. But immediately after the excitement of seeing this announcement comes a terrible twist, as the community's greatest fears become true.

The route is made by Rivet Games.

 

It´s one of the oldest routes in TS Classic... anything pre 2014 is really not enjoyable on TSC. Just like most TSW 1 stuff is not enjoyable anymore.
Thankfully some people in the Community have taken to the time to rebuild really old routes like the Hagen-Siegen V3 on Railsim or ATS refreshing ECML and GEML.

 

Would be a good Scottish route, a 68 and 170 with this, I think would make this route a real good one.

If they could get the scenery around the bridge looking very nice it would definitely go on my list of wants to pick up.

count me in for Scotland and Wales to be considered for routes just as much as England on the “big 3” definition.

You know Scotland has two routes already in this game so maybe it's time for Wales to get one?

I'm not asking for it to be the next route made. I'm just asking for it to be the next Scottish route to be made.

 

First thing they need to do is put Azuma's in Edinburgh Waverley, that would be a start.

 

Surely that's down to Rivet and has no affect on when or where the next Scottish route will be.

 

Services run from Markinch in the North, terminating at Inverkeithing in the South.

 

Wouldn’t surprise me if they implemented it as part of their engineering pack, nothing for nothing.

 

You'd at least hope so, though I am not getting my hopes up as I would have thought it would be advertised at least once.

 

Yeah, a small part of me hopes they pulled the release to sort the outstanding issues on the route & including some extras.

As it stands the only way I’d even consider the pack was if there was an abundance of stuff like Azumas, the missing 385 timetabled services and corrected rush hour stopping patterns included. They could argue these items as new gameplay rather than fixes. As you say very unlikely though.

The next UK Route(Rivet) i guess is West Higland Line and from DTG Steam Route.For Petition i mean is too late.Maybe in Summer-Development time is 6 Months and we have no chance for five circle line, WHL wiil maybe comming(What era70´s with class37/4or modern? )

 

If west highland line is coming I'd prefer it to be modern day with class 156's and class 153's but that seems unlikely sadly.

 

DTG own the game not Rivet.

As far as I’m aware, they can’t touch another’s addon without their permission, it’s not theirs.

801 running on E - G isn’t core game.

I find that bizarre. It's like saying a mechanic put a part in your car and you can't remove it because it's his! DTG should have the final say on what goes into the routes that make up their game and are being sold under their name DTG, at the very minimum they should hand over their Azuma to rivet and ask them to put it in because it obviously should be in there, I think we all agree on that.

 

it’s your car, it’s not DTGs route, and the mechanic also has no way or reason to deny said changes.

Even if they did ask, rivet are under no obligation to comply

3rd party also can’t change DTG routes as JT said for the 142 to substitute on TVL it would require DTG to make changes, rivet whether intentionally or unintentionally allowed it to appear on WCL.
