    Intro
As a background story to why I've suggested this, I went on an expedition to Cambodia in July 2025 to do agricultural work and to help the local people who live there. And I thought it would be a good idea to suggest a Cambodian route for TSW6 after the visit. Cambodia in my opinion is a heavily underrated country for how beautiful the country is. Cambodian Royal Railways have unfortunately been in a terrible state due to the Cambodian Civil War, and a lack of funding in modern times due to the terrible impact the Khmer Rouge had on Cambodia. I don't feel like Cambodian railways are well acknowledged, which is another reason why I've suggested this, and so I will be suggesting Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville as a route for TSW6. Despite the route being 164 miles long, it takes around 6 to 7 hours to complete due to the bad state of the tracks, which is considered very long for a TSW route.
Here's a map of the route:

    Trains
Thai Railways DMU (Given to Cambodia by Thailand)

KiHa 183 DMU (This was recently given to Cambodia by Japan)

    Stations
    Phnom Penh

The capital city of Cambodia and the most important train station in Cambodia where both 2 railway lines terminate. The main city I visited on my expedition.
    Takeo

A historically rich area in Cambodia being once the seats of the Funan Empire and the Water Chenla Kingdom.
    Kampot

A laid back riverside town known for its French colonial architecture built when Cambodia was a French colony.

    Sihanoukville

Once a quiet beach town sadly turned into a crime ridden concrete jungle by Chinese investors who left after Cambodia made online gambling illegal and Covid happened. Another city I visited.

To conclude, we haven't seen any Asian content in TSW, although the Tadami Line is coming, there is none in the game as of November 2025. And since Cambodia isn't known for its railways, it will be a good way to get more variety in Train Sim World.
