Actually not anymore its usually a HST or the 950 on rare occasions
Huh, never mind, love the NMT, saw it up here while the blue lazer was recording some data and it was at night too, nice blue light following the rails to Aberdeen it was
on the WHL they usually strap a laser to the back of a 156
I’ll have to go for a bit soon lads to get scran
OK, hope it's nothing to serious
Mate it’s food dw XD ain’t gonna batter my fish (laugh I demand you to laugh)
Wow, learn something new every post from Derek! Lol
You know it!
In other news ROGs 37800 is on hire to DRS for RHTT duties
Yep! It’s got a 66 on the back of the RHTT set
Is it now... A 37/66 RHTT combo, imagine if you could do that in TSW, that would be amazing
Yep, Direct Rail Services, not Drag Reduction System for all of our F1 fans reading
Yea. That would be really cool!
What a beauty, we get HSTs up here, in fact I was on set HA04 from Montrose to Arbroath yesterday morning but I had to stand because most seats were taken however I was due to be on for one stop anyway
Getting theese for my pals birthday what do ya think?
They look great! Tell you pal, happy birthday from me!
Yeah, go ahead, I wish your pal an excellent birthday
He says thanks it is next Saturday tho so wee bit early XD
Really good pics. Love the design of the 380s and 385s. They just stand out compared to other trains. Also the sound they make when they depart. What is it that makes that sound anyway ???. Ive been curious about it for a while.
It’s the traction motors mate
Maybe don't share photos of your friends or anyone in general derek#2931 . If I were you, I wouldn't want anyone I don't really know knowing who I or my friends look like
I already asked him dw
I’ll delete it tho bc you don’t know if any creeps are in this forum
Yeah it's better to do that because like you say, there could be stalkers on this forum, my advice is don't share full name, address, DoB, any photos of friends, you can talk about them but not post pictures of them, where you live that kind of thing
Yea, exactly. Precisely why I don't use my face as my prfl pic
Another tip added there Nathan
Just edited this photo:
What do you think?
That looks sleek, looks like someone painted it for you, good work
That’s fit ngl
Well, this is a happy little thread. Keep it on topic please.
If you don't enjoy the thread, please just move along.
Will do Sam, thanks for the kind words and I'm sure TSW Nathan and derek#2931 and myself can take your advice on board, to echo the Colonel, keep on topic guys...
I don't know how we got from photos of trains to food to personal information, but we were having a nice chat too, thanks again for the advice
Yep I agree plus I can say we’re a little bit too active here XD

Some shots from my trip to and on the West Highland Line in October
I had to go from Troon to Glasgow Central at 6:20am in the morning. It was very early and I was so tired but I knew it would be worth it. We arrived at Glasgow Central earlier than I expected because we had got on an express train. We got a Gregg's roll for breakfast and then made our to Glasgow Queen Street. Once at Queen Street we had an hour and a half to wait for our train to Oban. I took this opertunity took get some photos of the trains there. Class 385's, Class 170's, Class 158's, Class 156's and even a Inter7City HST! Eventually our train arrives fresh from the depot for our journey. We make our way through the barriers early to try and get good seats to discover that the train is going to Aniesland. Not where we want to go. We panic and find a seat kn the middle platforms. Turns out it was only the front two coaches were going to Aniesland. The other 6 were for Oban, Fort William and Mallaig. We Make our way onto the train and accidentally get on the wrong part. Thankfully someone points this out to us and we get to the front two coaches before the train leaves. We get good seats and enjoy the journey up to Oban. As we arrive into Oban we also see the MV Isle of Mull Departing and the MV Isle of Lewis arriving. Some great sights even if it was a bit wet.
That's the story of my trip on the West Highland Line.
Here are some photos I got while in London a couple of weeks ago of 395012 at St Pancras
Oooo! Cool! I always wanted to go on one of the TSW routes IRL. That's really interesting! Were there alot of Trainbows or just the one that you took photos of?
Southeastern only has one 395 Trainbow but I know that 375922 has a Pride sticker on it but I didn't see it
More Class 385 Action!
Nice images, 43s are so rare near me. It must be nice listening to their clag every now and again. Only time I see a 43 is during a Network Rail Test Train.
Here's an image from August with 43274 & 43299.
I have actually XD
Yeah, I don't really see them much unless I go up to Glasgow Queen Street so I probably see them as rare as you do
Separate names with a comma.
