This week, let's delve into the inner workings of the Integrated Board Information System (IBIS) inside the ULF Tram – your digital companion for a smooth tram ride in City Transport Simulator: Tram.

For those new to the game, the IBIS acts as the digital information center of our trams, offering real-time information and control features for a seamless journey.

    Enhanced IBIS Features

We've revamped the IBIS display to make it sharper and more detailed than ever before. It's not just an upgrade; it's a step towards creating a more immersive tram simulation. Now, you can set the destination sequence through codes, invert the screen, and even set the IBIS to inactive – putting more control in your hands.

One of the standout features is the pixel fonts we crafted specifically for the IBIS. These self-made fonts not only contribute to the authenticity of the display but also add a touch of realism to your tram navigation experience.

    One Step Further

Our design philosophy extends to making every IBIS modular and usable in all trams. We understand that everyone has their favorite IBIS system, and we want you to enjoy CTS: Tram with the one you're most comfortable with. Whether it's the simplicity of one design or the features of another, you get to choose what works best for you.

Behind the scenes, the IBIS control seamlessly integrates into gameplay through Unreal Widgets, driven by blueprints and C++ code. This not only ensures accurate information display but also guarantees an intuitive and responsive interface. The meticulous programming of the underlying logic is focused on optimizing performance, delivering a smooth and realistic tram simulation experience in City Transport Simulator: Tram
