What I would like to know is this on the bml screenshots shows working destination boards on the 377/387 for upcoming Brighton mainline my question is simply this will we be able to set the destination displays ourselves like we do on 377 east coastway?

My suspicion is no, as all the recent releases have them working automatically iirc.

You are able to change the PIS of the trains on the Dresden Route.

The goal, according to Matt, is to have automatic PIS with manual override- that is, if you don't like the autodestination you can still set it manually the old way.

Of course, this is still dependent on the route's available destination list, especially whether it includes "ghost" stations past the end of the route.
