Already in TSW 2020, TVL was very night driving friendly. It has now received an upgrade from the Preservation crew and the new cloudbox with the latest update. So I thought I'd take another look...

I chose April, clear sky and full moon. Around midnight I took the last Class 101. So it should be pitch black. But it is not!

In built-up areas I see a realistic and immersive ambient light. Even in the country it is not zappen gloomy. From the cabview it also feels real.

Ok, it's a full moon, plus the stars and yes, you can say that you could even turn it down a bit. But you can see everything clearly and all the light appears in a very harmonious attunement.

So it works! For me, TVL was and is a prime example of really successful lighting at night. So there are settings that you can use as a guide. If DTG or the third-party providers want it, they can also implement and use it. No more nagging about pitch black.

Yes it works! You just have to want it! But why do they want you to see nothing at all so often? They overdo it with their focus on reality.

TVL may be a tad too bright, but it's all doable. And it in no way diminishes the experience of driving through the night like this. On the contrary, it's even fun and has atmosphere. And isn't that what we all want? And it works! Watch TVL!

    What do you think?

And for once, feeble headlights are actually accurate to real life.
