Placing A Mesh And Overlaying A Texture

    With an eye on importing track plans either proto or model, rather than knocking together a flat plane in 3DC or Blender and importing, is there a means to create and size a mesh in the editor then overlay it with a texture.

    Or, failing that, maybe a sizeable decal that could be placed.

    If anyone could answer would be appreciated.

    Found this which is for Fortnite, so will see what if any of these processes are available in our editor.

    Looks like it might not have to be a mesh. Found a YT clip How To Add A Picture To Your Game (Decal) | UE4 Tutorial - YouTube that states you can import the image then in the content manager click on it select Make Material then choose Decal.

    If that works, I'll flag it for the guide.

    Well success after a fashion, I somehow blundered through and got this result:

    Now I just need to try and repeat the steps so we can document it.
