Hello, so I have seen a few people on YouTube who were playing TSW 4 in VR, but there were only a few videos and the rest were for other sim. So if anyone here has used VR in the game, can you tell me if you think it's worth it to use it in this game. Also, how realistic does it feel compared with flight sims? Thanks.

Don't you think VR first has to prove it can generate sales? VR is still an uncertainty. I have a PSVR, used it probably a few hours and don't intend to buy a VR set anytime soon. The next VR headset I and probably most consumers will get will not be focused on gaming.
As I’ve said in the thread marked above. I tried this mod. It’s very clever but after a while I found myself not bothering with it. It was a novelty to start with, and it did look good but after a while I just went back to playing the normal version and have never felt the need to play in VR again. I just didn’t find it immersive enough with still having to use the keyboard / controller (and not being able to see it!) I really like VR, but there are a lot of things I’d like to see DTG do before implementing it properly in the game.
Thank you. I might still try it but will limit my expectations. And yeah I did think about the fact that you would still be using a keyboard even with VR so it still might not feel the most immersive. Out of curiosity though does, Rail Driver work better in TSW and TS 20XX.
Since TSW2 the RailDriver is implemented and works great! It's a huge part of my TSW experience and without it, I wouldn't have logged 4000 hours of playtime For German trains, there are absolutely fantastic mods to make RD behave "correct" (PZB, Throttle reversed, Brakes reversed) https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c109-other/i3790-db-raildriver-remapping
VR seems to be pretty pricey, that being my only hold back on it if I would get involved with it on console, it would be quite the investment to make considering if TSW had it, it would be the only game i know to use it for I already have interest in. I’ve seen people on the forums discussing the value of dlcs to them, base price usually around £30, I think considering that seems very cheap in comparison to VR, I think I may not be the only one who sees VR as a rather expensive investment for a bit of “reality experience playing TSW”
