It's a shame Scotrail 158 has just gone on sale - got it last month xD.

Anyone think LGV is worth it at 90% off? One I've been considering for a while

Gets a bit boring after a while and the scenery isn’t that great. But at 90% off, I’d say it’s worth it.

Nice for learning how a TGV works and I think it's still the fastest ever line speed you can get to in Train Sim World (ICE 3 is theoretically faster at 330kmh but on the lines it runs on you can only get to 280kmh).

It also adds a really fun timetable layer to SEHS where you can drive at the full line speed of HS1 from Ashford and depart and arrive at the Eurostar platforms at St. Pancras.

I seem to have a lot of questions. It's Christmas, so really treating myself in this sale.

CCL - A bargin at £7.49, or something like that amount.

Class 380 - Required to activate the new timetable, and layers onto E2G I think I read. Not on sale. Anyone who has it, do you find its worth the full price, or would it make more sense to buy CCL and then wait for the 380 to be in a sale?

I’d say yes. It’s a busy route and gives the Acela a chance to really stretch her legs. Performance at NYP isn’t great (on normal PS5) but that is true for most major stations by now.

Not sure about it providing layers. On the revamped LIRR perhaps? I don’t own that one so I don’t know but it would make sense.

As I'm most interested in German routers, I was hoping for some good sales on Rosenheim and Semmering (for the ÖBB trainset), but instead bought Overground and Blackpool

I ended up getting Peak Forest, the Suffragette Line, the ROG Class 37 and the Flying Scotsman. Am very happy with that selection!
Finally a proper WSR steam timetable due to all the layers from PFR and the Scotsman (the latter also has tons of railtours on Fife Circle which will be very fun, and hopefully the promised WCML South railtours will come soon as well). The alternate white Southern Class 375 livery included with the ROG loco even has a different interior, very impressive and positively surprising for such a comparatively small pack. And the London Overground route just looks absolutely stunning, this level of detail is basically unmatched (yup, even Niddertalbahn and Blackpool Branches don’t have as much detail and clutter on the platforms). :D

I went for it last month - it's been fun for a few high speed runs, but realised I need to learn it properly as I keep getting penalty braked. Was devastated when I realised I had missed it for free a while ago

Nope - not new - had it since TSW 2020 for PlayStation. I just stopped playing much between TSW2 and TSW4 (didn’t own TSW3) and didn’t check the forum, and didn’t check the dovetail site in my ‘absence’ and I think this is when that DLC went free.
