This isn't just a problem on the 801.
    It's present on the NT 323, 465 and 395

I'm very pleased to see that DTG learned from the mistakes in the past and the TSW4 release doesn't look rushed in any way. Seems like a lot more time then usual has been put in Q&A to have a perfect game release finally.

noticed that one to, I was going to check afterwards if it done it on similar design loco like the Acela, I was wondering if it was a general issue or this loco specific.

Look at the bit that I’ve circled, then it should be obvious

The things we choose to care about...
I might have said something similar when someone complained about an inaccurate pantograph.

To me, an issue would be inability to complete a scenario, to unlock an achievement, or broken immersion (for example, unable to drive in 1st person view, because I can't see through the rain, and I'm forced to use outside camera).

every issue should get attention, no need to criticise others for pointing out one, that is clearly been picked upon by at least some for the few seconds it became visible. Not every bug has to be game breaking for it to be an issue.

I think the only thing I’m bothered is how the second fix for the BR187 will sounds.

Probably aliased to the Electrostar, which seems to be the only electric traction sounds they can source. Or they reused the Vectron sound set.

They said that they sourced the right sounds but it was badly mixed on the first fix, I hope it’s finally over after 2 years… If not (yeah I’m quite pessimistic) let’s pray that they used the Vectron sounds.

Have they confirmed that the bugs in NY-Trenton aren't going to be fixed along with the new timetable?

This is looking more like a design oversight, so I doubt it will ever be fixed. Just another bullet point to add to the list of infinite items. It's not even the first time someone has brought this type of issue up before given your list of affected trains, so it really makes you think how problems like this aren't addressed early in development.

The new features and routes have looked really good from all the streams I've watched. A minor visual bug, that has already been acknowledged doesn't detract from it.

Not entirely sure this is as straightforward as people think. If people are expecting it to sway or move with the train, thats two physics-affected objects with some kind of asset to connect the two.

I think it would be better they focused on the core game for now...

I think this should have a higher priority than static wires. suicidal passengers aren't a good look

Perfectly fine unless the passenger touches the ground at the same time

The biggest puzzle is how did:

    - the model creator(s)
    - the DTG testers
    - the beta testers
    - the ambassadors
    - Matt

All miss this, but it was discovered quite quickly on the preview stream. Hmm.

Really quite a jarring visual glitch when you see the train motion. Noticed it immediately when watching the stream.

You make it sound complicated, but total number of people in those 5 groups is much smaller than number of people who watched the stream.

You couldn’t miss it on the stream. I’d have thought one of the things the modeller would have checked (as a minimum) was that all the connection points remained connected when turning, the pantograph moved up and down appropriately, the wheels etc turned. It really isn’t difficult, or maybe my reasonable expectations are just too high.

I feel alot of people on here complain and whine about things saying they are "immersion breaking" or "broken" and turn out to be things like this.
    Minor inconveniences at best

They probably didn't, but things like this, in the grand scheme of things go to the bottom of the pile.
They're only visual, over Gameplay or technical bugs

    Exactly!
Same thing happened with some pantograph not too long ago.
How is this breaking the immersion? I would think immersion means playing exclusively in first person view, no external camera use.

Everyone sees it differently. I am buying a model of a train, and I expect it to work and look like the real one, as close as possible.
