Hello. Sorry for capitals on the title and being a bit harsh. But I believe a Irish route would be fantastic for me and a lot of other people! "It has a very niche player base" Just try Making trains on MSTS had many sales from it! My point is Irish rail has a lovely and scenic railway network. Here are some suggestions. Dublin - Maynooth - Even this! I would absolutely shut up and buy this if it was in TSW, No questions asked! The 29000 and 22000 class operate here. Dublin - Cork - Feeling like you really want to do a lot of work this is a nice long strech of intercity and commuter track. Although it makes more sense to only do until kildare/portlaoise which is 50 miles to portlaoise. 29 to kildare. Mark 4/Class 201 and Class 22000 ICR operate here, Along with 071 as the main freight operator. Dublin - Belfast/Dundalk - I feel like this is too long for one release but i feel like to Dundalk is doable. Its 54 miles in length. Both commuter and Intercity operate around here. Mark 3/Class 201 and NIR trains, Also Class 29000 up to dundalk. Dublin Area (Everywhere the DART operates) 32 miles. Nice suburban railway that's enough to have fun. Class 8100 8500 8510 and 8520. The class 29000 also operate alongside the DART Dublin - Drogheda - Class 29000 and mark 3/class 201 operate here. I beileve a few DARTs here then and there but not sure. 31 Miles. Not long. But will definetly with the 29000s taking like 40 minutes or so to complete it it will be awesome fun. So yeah. Really please I'm begging you dovetail. I'm sure we can provide pictures of the following trains. I really think this would sell way more than any other route that's just revamped like the hype would be CRAZY like please. Please consider this dovetail.
It's not really the line or country I'm most waiting to see in the game, but it's a new country and I like the Class 29000, 22000 and 201 at first view.
Don't worry about title capitalisation; it auto-formats it so the first letter of each word is capitalised and the rest are lower case
That's exactly why I said it. Otherwise they don't know what they did wrong or how to fix it. If you want to be more diplomatic about it, be my guest but as you point out...with no moderation people are not being informed of HOW to make a useful suggestion and we end up with ramblings which are then ignored. If the goal of suggestions is to actually give DTG and vendors something useful to consider for new content, then doing it in a format where it is considered matters. It's a good idea to have an Irish route. However, it means nothing until it's one specific route suggested in detail for consideration. Otherwise it's not a suggestion, it's rambling and we'd need a different thread for that. The drunk guy from yesterday could have his post moved there for example. Any of the ideas above could work, they sound nice... but flesh them out, aron3940. From where to where? What is there to see and do on the route? What year would it be set in? What is unique about it? How does it help DTG sell more DLC? What would the next step be after that? (Additional routes, rolling stock, etc) Those are not difficult questions to answer if someone is passionate about a route (are any railfans NOT passionate?) and that is what gets noticed.
To be fair, there is a pinned message on this sub-forum precisely because there were too many suggestions without the rich level of detail needed to tick all of the boxes. I'll happily add my support to a suggestion that sells the route to me, but "the hype would be CRAZY like please" isn't that.
