In reality train horns are heard from way down the track, before you even see them coming. At the moment, they have the same presence as a passing bicycle ringing its bell. In TSXx the HST horn for example, I cant fault.Its got a deep base and presence. Where inTSW, sometimes it dosent work at all and when it does. Its barely heard. In fact in TSW generally set the camera to the back of the very train sounding the horn, and you wont hear it. The 45 and 33 are the best sounding for getting the sound correct, but still suffer from lack of volume.
