    Hi everyone,

    I'd like to present a Polish route concept for Train Sim World, which could be introduced as the first Polish route, namely Kraków-Katowice with Kraków-Oświęcim branches. I chose this route not only because it's my local route, but also because of its non-linearity (I'm referring to the branches) and the addition of new carriers, such as:

    - Koleje Małopolskie (Lesser-Poland Railways) - operates services on the Kraków-Katowice route and the Kraków-Oświęcim branch (regional carrier);

    - Koleje Śląskie (Silesian Railways) - operates services on the Katowice-Kraków route;

    - Polregio - operates services on all sections of the route (as a regional carrier);

    - PKP Intercity - operates services on the Kraków-Katowice route (express trains and Pendolino) and on one of the branches to Oświęcim (express trains);

    - PKP Cargo - a freight carrier operating on the Kraków-Trzebinia route (trains from the Trzebinia refinery) and on the branch to Oświęcim (at Libiąż, Chełmek, and Oświęcim stations);

    Rail Polska - a private freight carrier operating on the same routes as PKP Cargo;

    DB Cargo Polska - the Polish branch of DB Cargo. It operates on the same lines as PKP Cargo and Rail Polska;

    Route:

    The route consists (as previously mentioned) of three routes, and here they are:

    - Kraków - Katowice route (Line 133 and part of the SKA3 line) - 69 km (42.9 miles) - connections operated by PKP Intercity, Polregio, and Koleje Małopolskie and Śląskie:

    Kraków Główny - Kraków Łobzów - Kraków Bronowice - Kraków Mydlniki - Kraków Mydlniki Wapiennik - Zabierzów Rząska - Zabierzów - Rudawa - Krzeszowice - Wola Filipowska - Dulowa - Trzebinia - Balin - Jaworzno Szczakowa - Mysłowice - Sosnowiec - Katowice Załęże - Katowice Główny

    - Kraków - Trzebinia - Oświęcim branch (SKA3 line) - 65 km (40.4 miles) - connections operated by Koleje Małopolskie (entire route) and Koleje Śląskie (Oświęcim section) - Trzebinia), Polregio and PKP Intercity:

    Kraków Main Line - Krakow Łobzów - Krakow Bronowice - Krakow Mydlniki - Krakow Mydlniki Wapiennik - Zabierzów Rząska - Zabierzów - Rudawa - Krzeszowice - Wola Filipowska - Dulowa - Trzebinia - Chrzanów Śródmieście - Chrzanów - Libiąż - Chełmek - Gorzów Chrzanowski - Oświęcim

    - Krakow - Skawina - Oświęcim branch (SKA2 line) - 68 km (42.3 miles) - route operated by Koleje Małopolskie and Polregio:

    Kraków Main Line - Krakow Grzegórzki - Krakow Zabłocie - Krakow Podgórze - Krakow Bonarka - Krakow Łagiewniki - Krakow Sanktuarium - Krakow Swoszowice - Krakow Opatkowice - Krakow Sidzina - Skawina Jagielnia - Skawina - Skawina Zachodnia - Podbory Skawińskie - Zelczyna - Wielkie Drogi - Jaśkowice - Brzeźnica - Półwieś - Ryczów - Spytkowice Kępki - Spytkowice - Zator - Zator Amusement Park - Przeciszów - Włosienica - Dwory - Oświęcim

    Rolling Stock:

    Here are some of my suggestions for rolling stock for this route:

    Electric Multiple Units (EMUs):

    Newag Impuls - a modern EMU manufactured in 2012 by Newag. Used on the Kraków - Trzebinia - Oświęcim, Kraków - Skawina - Oświęcim, and Kraków - Trzebinia - Katowice routes. Painted in the Małopolska Railways colors.

    Newag Impuls II - another EMU from the "Impuls" family, used on both branches from Kraków to Oświęcim (and most likely also on the Katowice route, but I'm not entirely sure). Painted in the colors of the Małopolskie Railways.

    Pesa Elf II - the second generation of Elf EMUs manufactured by Pesa. Used by the Małopolskie and Silesian Railways.

    (Optional or DLC) Pesa Acatus Plus - an EMU that is a development of the Acatus II and Elf trains. Used by the Małopolskie Railways and Polregio (Małopolska).

    (Optional or DLC) Pesa Acatus II - an EMU that is a development of the Pesa Acatus EMU. Used by the Małopolskie Railways and Polregio (Małopolska).

    EN57 - an EMU from the 1960s used by Polregio in a modified form (a variant with a modernized interior or a variant of the 20XX series) on the Kraków-Trzebinia-Oświęcim and Kraków-Trzebinia-Katowice routes.

    (Optional or DLC) Stadler Flirt III - Stadler-made EMUs used by PKP Intercity on the Kraków - Trzebinia - Katowice route.

    (Optional or DLC) ED250 "Pendolino" - a high-speed train belonging to the "Pendolino" family, serving the Kraków - Katowice line.

    Electric locomotives:

    EU/EP07 - a classic 1960s electric locomotive manufactured by Pafawag, used by PKP Intercity on express services on the Kraków - Trzebinia - Katowice and Kraków - Trzebinia - Oświęcim routes.

    (Optional or DLC) EP09 - an express locomotive manufactured by Pafawag from the 1980s. Used on PKP Intercity trains on the Kraków - Trzebinia - Katowice and Kraków - Trzebinia - Oświęcim routes.

    (Optional or DLC) Newag Griffin - a modern electric locomotive used to operate PKP Intercity express trains on the Kraków-Trzebinia-Katowice route.

    ET22 - a six-axle electric locomotive designed for freight trains. Used by PKP Cargo and Rail Polska.

    (Layer) Alstom/Bombardier Traxx - locomotive used by PKP Cargo in the new livery.

    (AI Layer) Siemens Vectron - locomotive used in the DB or OBB livery.

    Diesel locomotives:

    ST44/M62 - Soviet-made locomotive used by PKP Cargo (ST44) and Rail Polska (M62).

    (Layer) BR Class 66 - diesel locomotive used by DB Cargo in both the DB and EWS livery (both livery are used in Poland).

    (Optional or DLC) SM42 - classic shunting locomotive from the 1960s, designed for shunting on sidings.

    (Optional or DLC) Newag 6Dg - modernized version of the SM42, used interchangeably with its predecessor (SM42).

    Carriages:

    Passenger cars - HCP and Eurocompany in the colors of CD (Czech Railways), MAV (Hungarian Railways), OBB (Leyer with the Semmeringbahn DLC), and SBB (Eurocompany and panoramic cars).

    Freight cars - coal wagons, tank wagons, flat cars, and flat cars for containers and timber.

    This is my vision of the route. I hope you like it and maybe it will be included in TSW in the future.

    (Note: For those who write about SimRail... Yes, I know about that game and I don't care much about it, despite being Polish).

    While a great idea, I somehow doubt DTG would want to go into direct competition with SimRail.

    I would really, really like at least one Polish route, but it is unlikely to happen even in the foreseeable future((
