Hi guys so I'm playing new york-trenton and the alp loco for is quite a tricky train for me to drive would love to know what train you guys find tricky to drive. Thanks
The upcoming Class 87 will be challenging to drive for anyone that's not used to tap changers (which is probably most of the TSW playerbase). The other BR era locos are as well, when compared to modern stock.
I mean, I don’t find any of the trains I have really that hard tbh, once I've driven it 2 - 3 times it becomes much easier for me to handle. But if there’s one train that overwhelms me a bit it’ll be the expert 101. When something goes wrong mid drive because I don’t speak German I panic for a brief moment but that doesn’t stop as it’s actually one of the few trains I’ll drive on services I’ve already completed as it’s good fun.
Holy run on sentence, jeez. That's like 3 sentences in one. Impressive. Anyway, I don't find any trains currently in TSW challenging to drive. As long as you watch the streams, read the manuals where available, and do some research and practice, they're all pretty simple to operate.
The Jubilee. Just can't get the hang of the ideal regulator/reverser setup as well as managing the brake pressure.
HSP46 Looks like Barney the Dinosaur on wheels in MBTA pink livery. It's just too ugly to take seriously.
