Hi friends, I'm a Train Simulator 2022 user, I want to record longer than a train accident. how do you get rid of the "Player train derailed" pop up like in this picture. because it makes the recording so limited. Thank You
You would need to edit each of the consist's vehicle's blueprint and change the "ShowDerailments" flag. Not worth the hassle. Just don't derail.
If you obey the signals and don't speed you should not derail. - You only get the pop-up when you do something wrong
I think the OP wants to record a derail - the game doesn't have proper simulation for that. For example, upon derailing, engines stop abruptly, without rolling, sliding or else. Also, old models are fairly generous with sideways forces as the game didn't have superelevation. Some DLC even made a point of this, such as the ICE 1 on Hagen-Siege, where you drive 210 in a real-life-50 (70 with superelevation). (Not to mention the bug-feature when your mainline train traveling at 125 suddenly gets routed into a siding through a 15-30mph switch. Old free roams are funny. In contrast, the Alco RS-11 toppled on Horseshoe when switching tracks.) So it was never really a point. Last but not least, many games avoid crash features to avoid random lawyers feeling like suing them for portraying their products in a bad light. NFS Underground was a similar example.
no no, I just want to record a train wreck a bit longer, without any annoying popups. But I thank you for your comments.
Other Sims are not as realistic as this, in the crash video, except for "Derail Valley" but unfortunately there is no DLC support for certain locomotives or Carriage
This simulator imho is not and never was designed for filming derailment videos. The physics on a derailment can be quite absurd at times and the pop up comes up to essentially dump the player back to the menu so as to prevent what you are trying to do.
I also don't like the fact that I can't steal cars from the station car parks, entertain ladies of the night or pop a cap or three million at passers by! Rubbish game this TSC, I'm going back to GTA V...
