If you have a fixed formation consist (such as 390 or 801) with first class at one end, and you want to run the same formation up and down, can you get it to go in one direction, and back out in reverse, or do you need to have 2 separate consists and set 1 doing Northbound runs, and another doing Southbound runs?

With 2 and 3 car DMU’s and EMU’s it’s less noticeable as they do get turned regularly in real life, but Main Line services generally keep First Class at the London end.

Trying to improve the ECML timetable using
    LUMO 803 - LNER 801/1
    Hull Trains 802 - LNER 801/1
    Grand Central 180 - LNER 801/1
    East Midlands 170 - ScotRail 170
    Cross Country 220/221 - ScotRail 170
    Northern 170/195 - ScotRail 170
    Northern 150 - TfW 150
    TransPennine 185 - ScotRail 170
    TransPennine 802 - LNER 801/1
    LNER 91 & Mk 4s - InterCity 87 & Mk 3s

Once all are in, then will look at adding freight

There's a "reverse from portal" checkbox on exit portal nodes. That is what you are looking for.
