So as the IC-Cab car still misses in TSW, there would be several ways to get that one into the game. As Part of a new route Every routes comes at least with one completely new loco/train (except DRA, where all the locos had some massive rework and HBK, where the 112 was more or less a 143 and a reworked 182). So if we for example get a new route where an IC could be layered in, we would get the known BR 101 (maybe with some repaints), the restaurant coach as well as the cab car. So we would have two new coaches, which actually doesn't sound thaaat hard to do. The regional stuff could be done with the Dostos or other trains we already have in game (or of course with a new regional train as well? Maybe some n-Wagen?). Another opportunity would be the BR 120, same coaches as for the 101-DLC and the cab car. The BR 120 is the underdog of german intercity as it was somehow the "middle child" between the legendary 103 and the then-new flagship BR 101/401. 2. As Loco-DLC with the BR 120 This begs the question: For which route? From our gives routes, HMA would be the one that fits best, as it then deliveres completely new services. And many yards could be filled with the coaches. DRA is also possible, but it would "just" mean that the BR 101-layer is used for that one. And maybe some yards filled with coaches. The opportunity of a loco-DLC MUST mean a new loco next the the cab car as nobody would buy two BR101-loco-DLCs. So of course it has to has a new loco and that would be the 120. You mean a Wrmz 134 or 137 type. As a Matter of Fact these were made by Stuttgart area based Märklin model railways as a part of their intercity set. Usually with a DB BR103 2021 50th anniversary Intercity DB BR120 & 101
It looks like we might get IC Cab Car according to this spoiler, would be nice as a free upgrade when you have DB BR 101 DLC…
Hold your horses, that picture only says that we'll probably get an IC Cab car. Nobody said anything about a free upgrade. That's just a rumor.
How do people even expect free upgrades? Like seriously, months of work went into that cab car. Why should it be for free? Do you guys also work for free?
The theory of a free upgrade was born out of the confusion, as to how the Cab Car will be released. The theories include a free upgrade for the BR 101 DLC, but also a new IC locomotive (i.e. the BR 120) or a new DLC for the BR 101 DLC, which may also bring some other new IC coaches. But I must say it again: These are all speculations from forum users with no evdience to justify any of them. I think we'll get a bit more details with the roadmap next week, until then people should not get to hyped about it.
