So, i’ve seen many people say ‘OH TAKE IT TO YORK’ or ‘TAKE IT TO KINGS CROSS’. Issues with that would be: For York, Peterborough to York feels a bit odd for choice of a route. (and it’d make it up to 107 miles.) and for King’s Cross, It would simply be to long. And here’s my compromise. Adding the G-L-N Line (or Grimsby-Lincoln-Newark Line) as far as Lincoln. Even though it would Literrally only add 4 new stations (Collingham, Swinderby, Hykeham and Lincoln) It could have a bit more traffic for the 158, instead of the only way of going from Grantham to Peterborough. As for why the 800, it’s mainly for Lincoln services. The 800 could add a diversity of new, un electrified destinations like Inverness and Harrogate. With having to change power modes, it would make ECML Peterborough to Doncaster a bit more interesting.
Great suggestion. I definitely think Lincoln should be added if nothing else as that service is unrealistic at the minute in game because it just sits at Newark for half an hour whereas in real life it continues to Lincoln
