I was on the steam store page for TSW2, and I something caught my eye. On the right side where the achievements are, I saw this bright red square with the word "Placeholder" and next to it was an achievement for "GWB" Which I assume is the next upcoming route. I have attached a photo of the list of GWB achievements.

Probably refers to the upcoming Loco DLC. GWB = Great Western Blue 1970s Pack

They refer to the upcoming Great Western BR Blue pack... and the achievement tags suggest the pack including a class 52 and 101... the latter never ran on this route IRL.

Does nothing else that ran during the 1970's on the Great Western Main Line have gears?

How proud it will feel rolling majestically into Paddington.
Can still remember the smell, the noise and the constant shaking.
It was always a relief to get off.

Well, this would have been pre-restoration Paddington: dark, dingy, soot-begrimed, peeling, decrepit. So actually a good fit.

Class 117 DMU ran on the Great western Mainline during the 70s.

    Class 121

I know most of these images are from the 1980s or 1990s but tbh, the fleet was basically the same as the 1970s, although by the 80s, 119s had moved to the North Downs Line from Reading to Redhill, Guildford and Gatwick. All these trains were replaced in the early 1990s by the Class 165 and 166s.

Not the 70s though, is it. As said in the other thread on the topic, Reading had *zero* 101 vehicles allocated as of 1977, and the situation was no different back to 1970. The 90s are not the 70s.

I didn't mean they ran there in the 70s, I just meant they had run on the GWML at some point. The post I was quoting claimed they never ran on the GWML, which is false.
