Post-fix Add-ons Missing (27th August)

Same here.

 

Australia, standard digital version probably, another BR Class 20 being asked to update upon booting up the game. On the in game store it's not showing as being purchased

UK on a PS4 Pro.

I was able to download the update yesterday and then redownload all add-ons from within the DLC section within TSW 2 in the dashboard. Class 20 downloaded but I still see a warning in relation to this one loco when launching the game.

Of much more concern is that some routes I've purchased aren't showing as purchased within the PS Store, e.g East Coastway which I obtained in the 2020 Collector's. Also Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr.

There are many duplicates in the store, e.g there are three versions of the Baby Bullet add-on. One showing as Free (I've never bought it), one at £5.74 and one at £11.99!

I was actually going to buy the Baby Bullet today as well as the Season Ticket but think I'll hold off until the store correctly shows what I've purchased.

Followed the instructions, redownloaded everything, still getting the error message and can't play my routes.

This is ridiculous, I've spend a lot of money on this game and can't play it, we should be entitled to a refund as it was DTG who broke the game.

 

Hi,I am still missing lots of add ons (eg Class 31 which is showing as unavailable) and all the TS2 ones. Is there anywhere I can see a message from DTG that says what the current situation is?

 

So when can we expect the return of what’s still missing? It’s great a lot of us have most routes and locomotives back but a lot haven’t and even one locomotive or route missing is unacceptable.

I guess what I’m saying is now we are all mostly up and running again I hope DTG / Sony don’t let up until everything is returned to everyone.

The British Rail Class 20 loco seems to be missing for everyone that bought it.

It’s weird how some have got particular routes but others haven’t. WSR is ok for me though. I wonder if those who deleted and re installed things have affected whatever? I resisted the temptation.

Besides the BR182 and the M3, these have yet to work:
As far as the in-game store, everything that's working now shows the checkmark showing I have it except for Rhein-Ruhr Osten and the Rush Hour Season Pass, and the BR182 which is asking for full price yet I purchased them. As for Rapid Transit and M3 DLCs, those show as costing 0.00USD.
Let me simplify that, lol:
Rhein-Ruhr Osten, DB182 and Rush Hour Season Pass shows price.
Rapid Transit and M3 shows price of 0.00.

 

I am based in the UK
My game version is ps4 collectors edition (playing on ps5)
I am missing: Arosalinie Chur-Arosa , CN Oakville Subdivision, Clinchfield Railroad, Great Western Express, LGV Mediterranee Marseille-Avignon, Long Island Rail road, Main spessart Bahn, Southeastern high speed and Somerset Railway.

I have installed all of these from the store but they are not appearing in game and I am also getting the update error message when I load up the game.

 

Read the post beliw this 1 u need to dowload ur add ons from ur libary not the store

 

How can I do that on ps5?

 

Missing following addons: BR182, LIRM3, CLASS20 (Ps4 pro)

 

Mine was from brand new install all dlc downloaded from "Addons" and no class 20.

Are we going to 'hear' (read) any news about this PS4 missing addons fix situation during this weekend or has everybody gone home?

 

It is also a bank holiday on Monday in the UK

 

Looks like another week, but I wounder why the situation is such a mess some people having massive issues others with just a few trains not working. I wouldnt call this issue fixed at all.

 

There does seem to be a consensus that it has been fixed, but so far it’s clearly just a partial fix.

 

It can only be regarded as a partial fix if some dlc’s are missing. Still work for the DTG / Sony devs to do in order to put things right. Sooner rather than later. I am loving the update though especially on my original PS4. I didn’t think it would make that much difference over what we had before but there are many things about it to like.

yep these are known with DTG, maybe sometime next week these will be sorted

what hardware are you running?

Ive had to reinstall each time as the notes are PS4 only

either my past messages lost in the ether or 5 users will have to reinstall the whole thing again when it’s solved

very odd folk elsewhere still getting the error on fixed routes as the store update should have been done globally by now

Followed the steps as advised but still unable to see BR Class 20, LIRR M3 & DB 182.
Still seeing need to update message for these three addons although there are showing as installed.
Rest of the game runs nicely - only other issue is the opening splash movie seems to be very jerky and stuttering a lot. Anyone else have this issue?

Specific issue: Able to download, but not visible in-game, gives update required warning.
Store show these as available to buy (for free) but they miss the tick mark like all the others have.

 

Yep, same here. It seems that the intro stutters when a lot of add-ons are installed. It runs normally if I install the game on an external SSD drive.

 

I didn’t notice any stutter until I installed Cane Creek. That’s the only one that throws the error and doesn’t show in the game.

Looks like this is a widespread issue at least the EU version.

 

the M3 and BR182 is a known issue, so there is something with the BR Class 20.

 

Looks like everybody has gone home and thinks 'job done'. I saw DTG Protagonist post on another thread that 'normality is about to return' so I wouldn't count on them working outside of normal 9-5 hours here on in.

Other problem:
After the update to the new version of the game engine and the nessecery redownload of Rapid Transit, the PZB of the DB BR 442 Talent 2 EMU is stuck in the U mode so the Max speed is 105 km/h.

All DLC owned - yeah, sort of like the game...

The three marked as missing were DB BR 182, BR Class 20 Chopper and LIRR M3.

Deleted the entire game and re-installed wihtout the three. No Message upon start, so far no crash.

 

Hello bart do you think the missing wsr dlc bug is a usa region thing only? Or do you think some uk people have had problems with wsr too? (Tempted to gamble... 10% tempted)

I never got to drive the Chopper as I got it just before this happened. Gutted.

 

Neither did I. Got it in a sale a few weeks ago ago but I never got around to driving it. I was thinking about doing so then disaster struck so I hope we get it back.

 

In the US, standard PS4. I've downloaded and installed Rhein Ruhr Osten and the DB BR 155 twice since the "fix" and they still don't show in game. I can say, though, that Main Spessart Bahn and Ruhr Sieg Nord are showing in game and play fine.

Hi mate. From what I have read throughout the comments, it seems to be only US/Canadian or EU players missing WSR. UK players seem to be ok. I have WSR showing up, but it's up to you if you want to gamble.

 

I have the standard edition, and had a disk version of tsw2020 collectors I think that had about 5 extra preserved routes. I'm in Australia and the class 20 still isn't working. I think that the other 14 DLCs I had installed okay but haven't tested it all yet. I heard some people mention we might be getting a free route for this?

 

Canada - TSW2 Collector's Edition with all DLC purchased as well as the Rush Hour Season Pass. After continually trying to redownload, restart PS4, and restarting the game, it tells me that these all install, but these still do not show up in game and I receive the version update error for:
Rapid Transit
Cane Creek
West Somerset
Rhein-Ruhr Osten
DB BR 182
LIRR M3
DB BR 155
BR Class 20

Now I'm aware that most people aren't having this many issues, the best I can think of is that I know when the first instructions were given out to delete the game, restart, reinstall, then download the DLCs from the store using the free option, I had downloaded just a handful of DLCs to see if it would work before wasting time on the rest. I just picked a few at random, not really paying attention, so it's possible that these extra ones not working may be the ones I tried. Help me Dovetail Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

Cane creek will still not download and also still getting need to update screen also has made all my Re-paints blotchy and pixelated

I am in the UK with Collectors Edition PS4 and have all of my routes back including WSR and SEHS. Just the 3 locos missing class 20, 182 and the M3.
