every time I try to install an rwp file it brings this error in the screenshot. what I'm I doing wrong?/how to fix it? is it from the mod file themselves? or its the utilities broken?
Install 7Zip (if you haven't already) and open the .rwp file in 7zip, and try to extract it. That may work, but if there's an issue with the mod it may break your TS so do that at your own risk. What mod are you trying to install?

the downloads didn't come with a zip, it was just the rwp file. I'm trying to install soviet asset packs. from a website. they all are different mods but none of them worked.
7zip can open .rwp files, they're just archive files like .7z or .zip. This feels very much the issue is with the mods, so maybe contact whoever's providing or made them?
