Even if I have little to no Hope, I thought I'd just ask. Will LocoDLC from TSW1, TSW2020 and TSW2 that I want to use in TSW4 still need their Home Route installed or can I finally send Rapid Transit into it's well deserved Retirement ?

If the Home Route still needs to be installed, are there any Plans to change that?

This was already covered when the ‘feature’ was announced last year - all previous locos will always require the home routes.

I think this should be changed, DTG has shown that it is possible with the first Loco Bundle.

Loco Addon Bundle 1 and 2, Acela, Class 700, UP and NS Heritage Pack and West Cornwall Steam don't require their home routes.

It’s possible now as they have new technical backends in place to develop them that way, it’s not just a decision. The DLC’s themselves were built differently.

They can't retroactively decouple old routes' locos easily without breaking stuff. Anything added going forwards can be.
