Prediction Gwe Remaster Release Is Imminent

This is just my prediction if it is wrong its wrong I dont really care but I saw this recent post on instagram and I think the release of gwe remaster is imminent I think you could expect an announcement in the next couple days or week at the latest again this is just a prediction not an official confirmation and im not trying to spread misinformation either

 

Now if I saw that post i would be thinking weekend surprise.

 

Would be nice if this was a free release highly doubt it.

They never release stuff at the weekend, presumably in case urgent patches are needed, but fingers crossed for next week given the wording of that post.

 

Shouldn't we be getting the February roadmap next week? (Holy crud what it's nearly February already??? )

I've been beginning to wonder if they might put something like "available in two days time" or something like that

 

It would be a nice one to get stuck into the February Mastery with (along with the 805 and excellent new WCMLS timetable).

Just caught a very vague item on the TSW official Facebook page,”Next Stop GWE Remastered…” but it offers no indication of the actual release date. I’m guessing the formal announcement will be with the February roadmap followed by release a few days later.

 

Is the roadmap this week coming or next? I feel like that may shed some light on GWE if we don't hear before. It has to be imminent if they've posted it on Socials. DTG fully know what they're doing dropping screenshots and saying "Next stop". So it must be the next release from that.

The release is very close now so i can understand all the excitement here. It looks amazing!!!

 

GWE is one of my favourite routes so cannot wait for re-master to arrive.

 

You don’t get kicked for no reason you done something you shouldn’t have. All the members in the discord and they kick YOU for no reason.

 

Its gonna be mid feb as a Valentine's gift from DTG to us, as a thanks for all the love over the years.

I'm guessing mid, end of February 17 or 24 and a definative release on the roadmap tomorrow ,that's my opinion

As it's a remaster of an existing route rather than a release of a new one, I wonder if this may change the release plan/marketing around it etc?

Harry has announced there will be a preview stream for the gwe remaster tomorrow however I find it rather bizarre they are keeping the release date under wraps still unless they announce it tomorrow

 

I'm guessing thursday (or at the latest next tuesday)
because it's an existing dlc that will only be updated, so, it will come via a patch, and patches almost always come on tuesdays and/or thursdays

btw, I'm really hyped up for this

Why have you opened another thread on this subject, when you've already started a thread on the release date (which in turn was also frankly superfluous, when there's already a discussion thread on GWE:R)?

 

It is not unprecedented to have a preview stream without a release date. I believe it was either Preston to Carlisle or the Class 86 add on from Just Trains that went down that road.

 

Does it matter? It's clearly imminent!

The 805 preview stream was the week before it was released. Most likely be the same.
