    Hi everyone,
It was recently announced that they would be making it possible to use our preserved collection with the scenario planner in TSW2. They had to push the release date from August 6th to August 20th to be able to have the time to work on this feature. I was very much looking forward to the scenario planner as I have always been a fan of the more open ended services and scenarios. This by far very much surprised me and adds so much possibility right from launch and I can’t even imagine how much use we can get from this feature especially as they add more content into TSW2. This was taken from the DTG article.
    Preserved Collection 1 (20 August)
    • East Coastway: Brighton - Eastbourne & Seaford
    • Peninsula Corridor: San Francisco - San Jose
    • Caltrain MP36PH-3C ‘Baby Bullet’
    • Caltrain MP15DC Diesel Switcher
    • Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr: Duisburg – Bochum
    Preserved Collection 2 (September)
    • Tees Valley Line: Darlington – Saltburn-by-the-Sea
    • BR Class 31
    • BR Class 20 ‘Chopper’
    • Long Island Rail Road: New York – Hicksville
    • LIRR M3 EMU
    • Ruhr-Sieg Nord: Hagen – Finnentrop
    • DB BR 155
Are you excited to be able to use our preserved collection with the scenario planner?

This is awesome news, DTG have heard us and our discontent with the sidelining of the preserved collection. It will be great to be able to do more with the current content. My only hope is that it will eventually be extended to GWE, NTP and WSR as well as any other outstanding routes/stock as this was not strictly mentioned.
