Hey everyone, Does anyone know who I can speak with from DTG about acquiring a key? I'm currently heading a thread in this forum (see my signature) and a Discord info channel on the main train sim Discord which is aiming to help centralise all efforts to get the Unreal Engine VR Injector working as near flawlessly once released. The Injector is currently in closed alpha/beta stage with a good handful of testers. They were able to try it before when TSW3 was on game pass but with the release of TSW4, the game is no longer on game pass. They only really need access to the base game to test it and potentially develop better support but I'd feel bad to push them to have to part with cash when they have so many other games to test too. A lot of the internal testers of this project are all professionals in some field connected to the gaming industry. Potential for some networking maybe for DTG? Happy to jump into emails if a DTG is happy to approach me about potentially moving this forward, would be quite exciting! Edit: In theory if there's a way they can download a copy of TSW3, this could maybe be an option too if DTG can arrange this.
Doesn't hurt to ask given the situation. The injector, once released, will be open source and not behind a paywall.The modder and testers don't make a dime from this. I'd also like to think that a key for a tester might translate into some sales for DTG, especially people who are fans of VR but also might be waiting for something like this to come along.
