    Hello yall!

For me till now these two routes, Preston-Carlise and Blackpool Braches are the best routes, all the things around looks way better than other routes and DTG can take notes from Just Train. Hands up!

What your opinion about them? Just Train have to improve them? To fix them at the best level? Do you explore any issues till now? what we expect from the updates??

    Any opinion is appreciated...

The only issue I have is that the current core issues somewhat spoil the experience. FPS performance seems hand tied to sounds which means every time there is a pause or stutter or fluctuating FPS the sound goes squelchy or distorted. Whether there is scope for JT to optimise WCMLoS a little bit to reduce the effect is something they could perhaps look at.

Otherwise as said before, JT have significantly raised the benchmark for all future payware DLC in TSW, at least for the UK stuff. Hoping it won’t be too long before we learn what their next route project might be.

Well, it depends on which routes you're comparing them with. I see you're a fairly recent member so you may not have or be aware of the early routes that DTG built.

The JT routes are certainly very good compared to DTG's recent offerings, but, in my opinion, Sand Patch, GWE, NTP, TVL and East Coastway can all stand toe to toe with Blackpool Branches and WCMLoS.

I've played since TSW2 and for me personally what JT Have done is miles above anything else. They might have their flaws but I don't think we've seen value for money like JT Have offered with multiple liveries, layers and just all round work. Personally love BPO with the variety of surface length.

I think some DTG routes have been good like NTP, TVL, ECW, BML and a few others. But still not quite to the standard we got with JT. I think the recent routes have been better but we'll see what the next year holds.

Disclaimer: I play UK Content so can't really comment on anything else :)

My favourite routes are still NTP and TVL.

Blackpool Branches, WCMLoS and Peninsula Corridor make up the top 5.

Just Trains routes are fantastic, but pretty graphics aren't everything and I want to see the crashes and bugs fixed before anything else.

Out of curiosity last night, running WCMLoS I turned the graphics down from 4K to 1440p as recommended by Alex before they all went off on extended Christmas break. Made zero difference to the stuttering and sound squelching so the problem lies elsewhere in the core, not the load being put on the GPU per se.

I liked Blackpool Branches. I've had a few runs on Preston to Carlisle and it looks really good. But the new performance issues have put me off tsw for the time being. The stuttering and freezing with that awful sound is unbearable! It seems I spend more time tinkering with ini files etc than I actually spend playing. Just as I get it right, dtg comes along with an update and messes all up again.
It's a shame really because you are right, Preston to Carlisle would be one of the best routes available.

Good investigating, but at the same time infinitely more worrying.

If it's actually a core issue, I fear things are going to get much worse before they get better... if they ever get better.

DTG don't seem to have a clue about fixing core issues, and their quick "hotfixes" only ever break more things.

They're both great detailed routes and have raised the bar for sure but Shap definitely needs some optimisation work carrying out on it..... Possibly also Blackpool to a much lesser extent.
