To any gen 8 players looking to get this route, make sure you know it's limitations as described in the preview stream before you buy what is currently one of the most expensive DLC. (As an additional note it would be incredibly helpful and easier if gen 8 restrictions were included in articles otherwise they can be difficult to find establish without submitting a support ticket.) For those who missed the stream, you only get the passenger services for the class 87 in timetable mode so if timetable mode is your thing, be wary. However you still get all the stock and can create the missing journeys in scenario planner, which obviously isn't ideal but it's better than nothing. Also it is quite bad for the ongoing texture issue. I'd definitely get it in a sale as it doesn't feel like money well spent especially at £32. However, that said I have enjoyed the 87 and the route itself. It definitely lives up the the hype and reviews of players who are able to have the full experience, it's definitely a great route to start a br blue collection. Game performance is actually quite good so far. (Apart from the texture issue) I am yet to have a crash or significant drop in fps and I was able to get into the major stations without issue.
I can't see how anyone has missed this, seeing DTG and Just Trains have been very transparent on it for a while now (although the amount that didn't bother to listen is unbelievable).
