Any information on the anticipated pricing of the Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolino EMU and FlixTrain BR 193 Vectron Add-Ons? I already own Cajon Pass and want to see if getting the Deluxe Edition (even though I already own one of the 3) in a preorder would still be less expensive than the Standard and buying those two as add-ons? Thanks!
Hi magic#6391 the new locos will be available to purchase individually at launch at £14.99 for the Avanti West Coast Pendolino and £12.99 for the FlixTrain BR 193 Vectron. New routes will be priced at £29.99 individually. However, you will miss out on a lot if you don't own WCML: London Euston & Frankfurt - Fulda. The best value option may still be the Deluxe Edition.
Can I pre-order the game with only 10% discount? I only ask because the FAQ says 10% pre-order bonus, 10% loyalty bonus. That would be 20% in total. But the maximum discount can only be 10%, right? That's not loyalty from DTG to old players.
Sorry to piggyback here, but do you know when the Deluxe pre-order will go live on Steam? I can see the standard edition game and all the TSW5 DLC I already own, but not the deluxe edition.
It was there a few minutes ago, I had it in my cart, but then it said "unavailable in your region" or something and also disappeared from the store page.
Hi, please be assured that we are working on an issue with Deluxe/Special edition on Steam. It should be resolved shortly. Thank you for patience.
There is a maximum possible discount of 10% on each platform. What that discount is called and how you qualify varies per platform. You can find more information in the Train Sim World 5 FAQ. smugstarlord#4202 Your question is answered here: Will the new routes and locos be available for purchase separately?
TSW 5 Standard Edition has the same price as TSW4 Deluxe Edition. At least for Ukraine region on Steam.
Ok so if I have all the addons from TSW4 Will the deluxe Version be the best bet ? There a large price difference between special and deluxe and it tells me I will not receive an extra copy of ....(Add 5 routes here)
Well it is not in my humble opinion. I also already own Cajon Pass (got it with TSW 3) So why do I need to buy it again, only to get two more trains? That price jump is way to steep.
How is the price jump too steep? You buy the Standard Edition at £40, then have to pay an extra £15+£13 for the two locos, making a total of £68. Or you buy the deluxe edition at £60, which is £8 cheaper...
Correct. I'm just about to pre-order the Deluxe version on Steam and it tells me I won't get an extra copy of TSW5: Cajon Pass because I already own it.
This seems fixed for me now. I was able to pre-order Deluxe Edition and got the 10% loyalty discount.
Well I would need to pay 40ish Euros for three routes including trains and add 30ish more Euros to the Deluxe Package if I wanted two more trains ... and a route I already have and some unwanted decals ... when I get for nearly the same price the Standard Package and the two trains seperate ... you must admit ... there is no value in it buying the deluxe.
Yes there is. Buying Standard + 2 locos will be CHEAPER than buying Deluxe. The locos will probably convert to about €35, so you either pay €45+35 = €80, or buy Deluxe at €75. How is €75 not better value than €80 for exactly the same outcome?
Because it is still 30 Euros for two trains in a bloated package ... First they give you a huge discount in the standard package and then let you pay nearly the whole price for two trains in the deluxe version! The deluxe version ONLY makes sense if you DON'T own Cajon ... So my solution in this case is going probably with the standard and buying the Flix Train seperately ... and maybe in the future the Avanti with another discount. *shrug*
I am wondering. In the FAQ´s they wrote something about 35,99€ for the Standard Edition (Price with max. Discount). So from what depends how much discount someone gets? Because the Standard cost for me 40,49€ ??? EDIT: OK, it´s wrong in the FAQ´s. I calculated it thrugh, 10% discount are not 35,99€ !
