If I want to activate a plugin in the editor, error message 1 comes up first and when I press Yes, error message 2.

Error 1: 'E:/TSW Editor/TrainSimWorld4MOD/TS2Prototype/TS2Prototype.uproject' is read-only and cannot be updated. Would you like to make it writeable?

Error 2: Failed to write output file 'E:/TSW Editor/TrainSimWorld4MOD/TS2Prototype/TS2Prototype.uproject'. Perhaps the file is Read-Only?

I'm already an administrator and hav e excluded the folder from Windows Security

Does anyone have an idea? Thanks

Error message aside, you shouldn't activate plugins or change project settings when you can't get these changes into a packaged project (aka into a release version of TSW). If you do that, things will work in the editor but they might not work in a packaged mod.

I think that's the reason why the files are read-only.
