Has there been a change in the way old DLC’s have to be re-downloaded and re-installed? The way I’ve always done it is to first download and install all the small stuff (loco dlc’s and gameplay-packs) on day one. And when those are done, I do old routes in the following days as and when I need them. That way has always worked for me. So yesterday I started re-downloading all my small stuff. First thing I noticed is that it took the ps5 a very long time from when I pushed ‘download’ to actually putting in my download queue. I hope that’s only because it was launch day yesterday and server were very busy. I expect this will get better in the following days. When I had about 10 things installed, I got tired of waiting. I paused my other downloads and started up the game. To my surprise it wouldn’t load up. It got stuck at about 20% and stayed there. After 6 mins, I closed the game, tried again with same result. So I deleted my installed addons, started it up and it worked fine. I have a suspicion that it wouldn’t start because I only installed let’s say the 101, but not the route the 101 needs (HRR). In previous versions I never had this problem. The game would work fine without having the needed route installed. The loco would not be avl to play, but the game worked. TSW6 seems to be different as it didn’t even load up. If my suspicion is correct, that would mean I’ll have to re-download all 47 old routes first, which is a drag. Anyone else have this problem? Can DTG confirm if my suspicion is correct? Or is there something else at play here?
