PS5 Problems With Free Roam

I would love to work free roam, but I can't get past spawning the trains to set a path and a destination. (I see the red bar when I sit and try to set a path, and then when I click on the train, nothing happens.) I spent a couple of hours trying to make this work and nothing happens.

Can someone from DTG either tell me what I'm doing wrong and what exactly (with the names of the buttons) I need to be doing and (maybe better yet) make an instructional video on how Free Roam is supposed to work? I was hoping the TSW4 manual would tell, but it's not specific.

I love TSW4 and thank you for the game.

 

Open the map click on trains lead car select set path you must be in the driving seat to set path

 

Spawn a train


Sit in the engineer's seat


open the map, click on the loco, select "Set path"


click on your destination


go (or add Waypoints)
