I have just tried the fourth Scenario on Salzburg-Rosenheim (German Name Internationale Hilfe).

You have to drive a Freight Train from Freilassing to Salzburg with a BR 185 and then turn around to go back and that is exactly where my Problem starts because after switching the Cab my BR185 does not want to go faster than 2 km/h. I play with all Safety Systems (AFB,Sifa,PZB,LZB) switched on and have also checked the brakes in the abandoned driver's cab several times.

Even resetting the entire Train using the menu does not help

    I play on Series S

The 185.2 on Salzburg-Rosenheim is broken since the suspension upgrade.

Same here on my PS5 version, BR 185.2 cab 2 not working after suspension update due some weird limit of traction that does not let you speed above two km/h and then block any traction power. Submited a bug ticket week ago, let’s hope they fix it soon.

If a patch comes, it will only be in TSW5. The FAQ says that TSW4 will no longer receive Updates.

    Edit: Deleted a Mistake

I believe that unintentionally malfunctioning a BR 185.2 cab2 by bringing suspension update is something that deserves an promptly fix due it’s something different than common game updates.

Personally, I don't hold out any Hope that this will be fixed. Since TSW5 is free, everyone who already owns Salzburg-Rosenheim will also have this Route in TSW5. I therefore see no reason for DTG to work on the Old Version.

Doesn't seems to be just cab 2, driving backwards from cab 1 has the same outcome, ...traction cuts out at 2 km/h, while driving backward from cab 2 is working correct, so it's driving in this direction at all. So, driving from Salzburg back to Freilassing (7 km) will take 3 1/2 hours in this scenario...

DTG Matt said this about fixing BR 185.2 in this topic.

Thank you for clarification! Honestly, I gave up on 185.2 when I realized it’s broken, I really don’t like being surprised due unable to finish service due bug so I rather play other locomotives.

Actually, there seems to be something wrong with the loco's brake cylinder...driving with AFB set to in this case 40 km/h the pressure is constantly 'dancing' around 1 bar pressure (AFB releases brakes, while the loco is refilling the brake cylinder at the same time...). Or the loco seems to limit itself to 2 km/h. From a certain point of view, it might seem, that the loco is limiting itself to 1,4 km/h instead of 140 km/h, so, more or less, maybe only in the programme code are missing 2 'zeros' at a crucial point?

New information about broken BR 185.2 after suspension update from Dovetail support ticket, thought you may find this interesting as it looks like we might get it updated around TSW5 release if it goes well.

I want to assure you that our team is aware of the issue and it’s on our radar. However, bug reporting and investigation can take time. Even if an issue seems as simple as an “Off/On” power switch, it’s often more complex under the hood. We can’t give estimates on when a fix will be available, as it’s not always possible to predict the complexities that might arise during the debugging process.

Currently, our development team’s priority is the release of TSW 5. Rest assured, the issue with the BR185.2 will be addressed before, or after the release of TSW 5. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

It’s great they taking care of it! I see it positively, that 185.2 will be fixed even it’s part of “legacy” TSW4.

The route received a patch today for me on series X.

    Bahnstrecke Salzburg – Rosenheim
    • Fixed an issue where the roll brakes would not release after changing ends at Salzburg.
    DB BR 185
    • Fixed issue where the anti-slip could apply too much brake force when moving in reverse.
The scenario International Aid can be completed now! Enjoy
