    Hello, how are things?
I have problems with the cajon pass SD40-2.
It happens that when I apply the automatic brake in emergency, the power is cut off and there is no way to fix it. I do not have the security system/cabin signal connected, I have already tried to reset as it says in the manual (apply the automatic brake in emergency and the independent one at the top, put the inverter in neutral and the regulator at idle and wait for a minute, then release the brakes) but nothing happens, I have also tried removing and putting the reverse lever and closing and opening the brake valves and nothing.

Something like this had never happened to me with any other SD40-2 locomotive like the SPG, sherman hill or cane creek locomotive.

Please tell me how can I fix it.

  2. I'll have a look for you now.

Are you Xbox? PC or PS4/5?

  3. I had the exact same result.

I applied an emergency brake. Waited 60 seconds for PCS to rest. And then no power.

You are correct. This is a bug that needs to be fixed as well as the SD70 (I mentioned yesterday-Cajon Pass) where the brakes are cut out.

The SD-40-2 has brakes cut in.

So that is inconsistent to begin with.
