From what I've played so far, overall, TSW2 is a pretty good game. But there are some problems I'm experiencing that I think should be addressed. I haven't been experiencing the crashes and game-breaking bugs discussed in some of the other threads. My main problem, specifically for Sand Patch Grade's AC4400 tutorial, is that one of the instructions reads "enter Engineer's Main Screen view" and it won't let you progress until its completed, which I can't do because the control scheme for this tutorial is locked on Immersive, and thus am unable to change to any other camera angle other than external as in the Classic control scheme. Maybe I'm forgetting something (help would be greatly appreciated if I am), or maybe this is an actual issue that needs to be fixed, idk. I just wanna see this control scheme lock removed so that all maps, locos, scenarios, tutorials, etc can be played with either Classic or Immersive controls.
When you go to the different camera options press down and you will see Engineer screen menu. For the AC4400 tutorial it will allow you to switch to the old controls. Now I have had issues with the coal tutorial due to immersion is locked
You sure? For me, when I go into settings, the control scheme is locked on immersion when I do this tutorial and some other scenarios, while others allow me to change between immersive and classic freely. I just find it strange.
Switch to immersive controls before starting the scenario/training, you'll then be able to switch to classic once it starts. If the game switches you to immersive (i.e. you get the popup message), you won't be able to switch back (the option will be greyed out).
