It seems like every time I have a few days without playing TSW2, all my profiles vanish. How could I recover them and why does this happen? I always close the game properly so I don't suspect files become corrupt.
Savegames, settings and profiles are stored in C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld2\Saved\SaveGames. Do you use automatic cleaning tools that clean C: all the time or does TSW 2 have limited or no write permissions for C:?
Another thing some users have noticed is that their antivirus software is preventing the game from modifying some of the files it needs to. That usually manifests as settings not saving between sessions rather than a profile disappearing entirely, but it's always worth checking.
I don't have any cleaning tools and I constrain my antivirus to a smaller group of files which don't include this directory. I'm lost at this point.
