I tried using my Ps4 DualShock gamepad on train sim world .... How? The only one is that darn MS xbox gamepad ... Does DS4WINDOWS (3.3.3) work as for TombRaider (Rise of)
Steam has built-in support for DualShock 4 controllers, but games need to support it separately. I believe you can set it up in Steam (in the Big Picture Mode, even though the settings apply regardless of whether you're in the regular mode or Big Picture) to emulate an Xbox 360 controller (the standard on PC). However I find DS4Windows to be a better solution as it allows you to customise the DualShock 4 and DualSense to do what you want. I've set it up so that the touchpad works like a mouse - you may want to do that as it will be very handy in TSW. It even has partial support for DualShock 3 controllers, which have traditionally been a pain in the arse to get working. As DS4Windows emulates Xbox 360 controllers by default, it'll work with basically every PC game that supports X-Input devices. This applies to most games released in the past 20 or so years. You won't see the PlayStation button icons, but that doesn't really matter.
Steam supports the DS4 and DS5 perfectly, including the touchpad. It's highly customizable, I hardly need the keyboard.
