I decided to create an addon tracker spreadsheet for TSW3. Figured I'd shared the template in case it's helpful to some folks Sorry if this has already been done! Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mtMkmjfhn1cNlAvOC5Fid7MGFrIBYdU_arRbqSPtNxY/edit?usp=sharing How I use it: List contains all addons (routes, locos, etc) As I install dlc, I put the file size in the "installed column" Spreadsheet totals up my installed content using the "Sum" function Some notes: I took very special care to ensure accuracy of file sizes but apologies if any of these are inaccurate! The addon manager should be here soon but who knows- better late then never? Questions are welcome! Suggestions are also welcome- I would've loved to include layers on here but that's a heavy lift. Maybe another time! Super simple for those of you who are adept with spreadsheets (I already did the data entry for you- just copy paste it into your own sheet but please note you'll need to use the Sum function to total everything If one of the folks that does layers spreadsheets wants to include integrate this into their layer's sheet to share with the TSW3 community, feel free! I'm less worried about "internet credit" than helping out the community where possible.
Update With the release of the loco bundle, file sizes for the following have been added into the sheet: CJP F7, 233 MB (or 0.233 GB) Dispolok BR 182, 126.1 MB (or 0.1261 GB) SEH RHTT, 181.2 MB (or 0.1812 GB) Note: Even if you buy the bundle, you can install and uninstall each loco separately.
Happy I could help- wish I did this sooner but it wasn’t as big of a problem before… now that the new TSW3 routes are like 2 to 4 times the size of tsw2 routes, I need a spreadsheet to track
Hey folks- had a hectic few months at work so I wasn't able to update the sheet for a while, but I was finally able to add New Journeys and BCC just now. We should be fully up to date now, but let me know if I'm missing anything. Some tough route choices to be made now with BCC out!
Excellent work there, do you use Facebook at all? Would you mind if I shared this to the train sim world community facebook page? Crediting your self of course
Thank you- I don't mind at all! Feel free to post there and I'll keep an eye out for any feedback (if there are errors, suggestions, etc)
I believe I just submitted a join request- can't believe I've never joined the group in all this time I've played the game lol
Ha, it's strange how many dont know about it even with 14k members lol, I'll tag you in the post now. EDIT: AIf you could comment on it please it wont allow me to tag
Excellent work -well done !!! Although this confirms to me that since I own all DLC I can really only play 1x country at a single time, until the Addon Manager is released
Without trying to steal the thread from the topic in question but use this link to join fb://group/208763479804520?ref=share
Added ScotRail Express: Edinburgh - Glasgow. What abbreviation are we going with for this one? SRE? Edit: it's 4.326 GB, not 8.03 as originally posted... It's 8.03 if you download both the ps4 and ps5 versions together. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mtMkmjfhn1cNlAvOC5Fid7MGFrIBYdU_arRbqSPtNxY/edit?usp=sharing Also, please note that file sizes change slightly when routes are updated. I'd love to audit periodically but that's pretty time consuming- not sure if it's practical. Hoping to hear about a release date for add on manager when we see the roadmap next week (I think it's next week), we really need it.
I've updated the sheet with the new Acela and NYP-Trenton DLC. If anyone is able to let me know what the updated file size for Boston-Providence is (post update, if any) and Sherman Hill (post update, if any) That'd be super helpful! A bit tied up with in-real-life work until Friday, so I don't have time to scramble and look up the numbers at the moment, but I can do quick inputs if anyone has the data. Thanks folks!
